| Catalogues and Inventories of Ramon Llull's Works | 150 catalogues and inventories |
The need to catalogue Llull's opus –with its great number of works and with such variable titles– has existed since the very beginnings of Lullism. This section offers a compilation of all these catalogues, that is, of more or less complete lists of Llull's production (identified with the letter C), along with inventories of early Lullian libraries which might be of historical interest (identified with the letter I).The distinction between inventory and catalogue is, however, not always clear. The first catalogue, for example, that transmitted in the Electorium of Thomas Le Myésier (see the catalogue EL) seems to be an inventory of the Chartreuse de Vauvert in Paris drawn up with the clear aim of cataloguing Llull's works. Lists of this sort we refer to as inventary-catalogues (=IC).
